Throughout this group, you'll learn how to:
- Understand betrayal trauma and why it affects you so deeply
- Regulate overwhelming emotions such as anxiety, anger, grief, and shame
- Rebuild your confidence and sense of self
- Establish healthy boundaries
- Reduce isolation by connecting with women who truly understand
- Develop healthy coping skills for healing and resilience
- Begin trusting yourself again
What to Expect
Each week combines psychoeducation, guided discussion, reflection activities, and practical tools you can begin using immediately. Together, we'll create a compassionate space where healing can begin one step at a time.
Our facilitators understand that betrayal impacts every area of life: emotionally, physically, spiritually, and relationally. Healing isn't about 'getting over it.' It's about rebuilding yourself from the inside out.
What to Expect in a Group Session
The First Session
The first session is intentionally gentle. You are not expected to share your deepest story right away. We walk through introductions, group agreements, and expectations, and give you space to observe, listen, and ease in. Most people leave surprised that it didn't feel as intimidating as they expected.
A Typical Session
Sessions usually begin with a check-in, move into the focus or theme of the week, and end with reflection or grounding. You can expect 60 to 90 minutes of guided conversation, shared experiences, and facilitator support to keep things grounded and safe.
Group Size
Groups are intentionally small, typically 6 to 10 members, so that everyone has space to be heard without feeling lost in the room.
Confidentiality
Confidentiality is essential. What is shared in group stays in group. Every member agrees to this before joining so trust can actually exist.
